SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

The first play reading of "The Apron String Murder" at KAFM's Radio Room.

The playwright, Joseph Wilcox, did an excellent job of choosing its actors, and his play captured the essence, style, and humor of the characters of my mystorical, "Stained Glass Rose". The audience laughed, got teary-eyed, and loved the players. For me, it was AMAZING to see my characters come alive on stage, and even though it was simply a reading, not a staged play, the scripts they held were long forgotten as the story engaged the audience. Afterward, there was a discussion with the audience, with plenty of compliments and suggestions.  Our hopes are to find some grants to put this into a full production in 2010. The following are pictures from the event. Thanks for everyone's support!
